Blue Lagoon Vanuatu

Located on Efate Island, the Blue Lagoon is a picturesque natural swimming hole boasting turquoise crystal waters surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Whether you're into swimming or sunbaking, cannonballing or diving, this Vanuatu attraction is sure to impress. The Blue Lagoon is a very popular outdoor experience that is perfect for a family friendly day out. With picnic tables, rope swings and kayaks for hire, you can spend hours exploring the magical Blue Lagoon. Admission to the Blue Lagoon is approximately 500 Vatu (A$6) per person. It is recommended that you arrive early, as the lagoon can get very busy in peak season. You will need to bring your own towel and swimwear, and it is recommended that young children use a floating device, as the lagoon is quite deep.

Mele Cascade Waterfalls

Brilliant blue waters and magnificent cascading falls are what you can expect to find at Mele Cascades. Located approximately 10km from Port Villa, these waterfalls are a must see while in Vanuatu. Experience the beauty of Vanuatu as you swim beneath the magnificent waterfalls and snap some photos from the scenic lookout. Feeling adventurous? Hike up the falls using the guided ropes, just be mindful that the climb can be steep at some points. Guided tours are available to Mele Cascades which include a visit to the famous Tana Coffee Factory and local handicraft markets. It is recommended that you book in advance as tours can fill up fast!

Mt Yasur Volcano

A trip to Vanuatu is not complete without an active volcano experience. Located on Tanna Island, Mt Yasur is an incredible volcanic masterpiece that has been erupting continuously since 1774. Mt Yasur is safe to approach; however, it is recommended to join a guided tour for the safest and best sightseeing opportunities. Stand face to face at the base of the crater as you watch the fiery explosion unfold and hear the earth rumble beneath your feet. Mt Yasur is a truly iconic experience, that will leave a lasting impression on your Vanuatu holiday.
