Hideaway Island Resort offers a day of fun on Hideaway Island with the option of either the Snorkel Safari (excludes glass bottom boat tour and lunch) or the Marine Park Adventure. This Vanuatu tour will pick up from your hotel in Port Vila and you will then be taken to Mele Beach, which is only 15 minutes from downtown Port Vila. There you will board the Hideaway Island ferry for a 5 minute crossing to Hideaway Island.
Be welcomed to the island by the friendly staff from Hideaway Island Resort who will explain the features of the island and the surrounding marine sanctuary. Cool off with a complimentary welcome drink at the Melanesian style beachfront bar and restaurant, while enjoying the fabulous views of Mele Bay.
Kick back and enjoy the day as you choose. The waters around Hideaway Island have been declared a marine sanctuary and are teeming with marine life and tropical fish. You can snorkel and feed the fish just off shore or join the dive boat for a close up look at beautiful 'Coral Gardens'. The dive boat leaves each day at noon for the 45-minute snorkel safari and a guide will accompany you along the coral reef by Glass Bottom boat (Marine Park Adventure) that departs several times throughout the day.

Hideaway Island also has the worlds only underwater Post Office located just metres from the beach. You can swim and snorkel to the Post Office and post a special "water proof post card" to your friends and family!
