Only 3 km from Santo, Aore Island Resort (pronounced Ow-Ree) offers private and secluded accommodation in tropical paradise by the water's edge. Renowned for its personal service, the boutique resort features bungalow accommodation with spacious balconies that overlook the beach and Pacific Ocean. All accommodation is complete with private bathrooms, ceiling fans as well as tea and coffee making facilities.
Aore Island Resort also enjoys a fantastic range of facilities including an expansive outdoor pool, a stunning traditional open air restaurant with panoramic views of the bay and an activities hut offering a great range of ways to explore the island including kayaks, mountain bikes and snorkelling gear. The dive shop is also handy for preparing to dive the famous clear waters and coral of Santo.

This is one of the best place in Vanuatu for snorkeling, it has many different colours Coral and beautiful fish just in front of the resort for you to enjoy.

Fantastic island getaway with easy access to the stunning natural world of Espiritu Santo.
Property is right on the water - step off your balcony and snorkel into the water to discover loads of tropical fish. All the grounds and facilities are very well maintained. Lovely, authentic style rooms and restaurant/bar areas. Great staff, always friendly. Enjoyed two great cultural shows at night while we were there - both included in the tariff. Went snorkelling, kayaking and bike riding with all equipment included in the tariff. Met some lovely couples and young families. With direct flights to Santo from Brisbane now available and flight time under 3 hours - what a great getaway for a week. Lovely property owners who go out of their way to make your stay special. We arrived at the ferry jetty during a torrential downpour and in the dark. Met by the owner, Brad, who tried his utmost to keep us and our luggage dry and then ferried 10 minutes through the rain and darkness to our island destination. Even during the rain, we were greeted at the resort by co-owner Lisa with umbrellas, fresh coconut drinks and personally escorted to our rooms. Great stay.
This was our second stay at Aore Island Resort and everything was as good as last time. The new owners Lisa & Brad are doing a fantastic job. The food is still great and the atmosphere is excellent.
Resort allowed you to do as much or as little as you liked. We loved the ability to snorkel just outside of our accomodation. Local tour by Michele was remarkable. All tours organised by staff at resort were fantastic with just two of you on tour allowed for that personal touch. Room was cosy and staff always had a smile and time to talk. This place was great for relaxing and letting your hair down.
The team work so well and are so friendly. Our toddler was looked after by all the staff, and we had a perfect family holiday. The snorkelling just off the beach is amazing and the amount of activities and sites available is great. We'll be back.
This resort is a little gem. The resort provided everything we needed. Would love to return again.
