Join us for a fun filled day on this picture perfect tropical island. You will be picked up at your hotel and taken to Mele Beach, which is only 15 minutes from downtown Port Vila. There you will board the Hideaway Island Ferry for a 4 minute crossing to the island.
You will be welcomed to the island by friendly staff that will explain the features of the island and the surrounding marine sanctuary. Then cool off with a complimentary welcome drink at the Melanesian style beach front bar and restaurant, which has a fabulous view of Mele Bay.
Kick back and enjoy the day as you choose. The waters around Hideaway Island have been declared a marine sanctuary and are teeming with marine life and tropical fish. You can snorkel and feed the fish just off shore or join the dive boat for a close up look at beautiful ‘Coral Gardens'. The dive boat leaves each day at noon for the 45-minute snorkel safari and a guide will accompany you along the coral reef by Glass Bottom boat that departs several times throughout the day.
Hideaway Island also has the worlds' only underwater Post Office located just meters from the beach. You can swim and snorkel to this Post Office and post a special “water proof post card” to your friends and family!
This fun filled Vanuatu day tour includes transport, the island fee, snorkeling gear, fish food, snorkeling safari, lunch and a glass bottom boat ride.
