White Grass Ocean Resort Restaurant and Bar: From your seat you will be able to enjoy some of Vanuatu's freshest seafood. Sip on a glass of Australian or French wine from the well stocked bar, or try Tanna Coffee from the plantations on the island. Enjoy locally grown organic vegetables and fruits and watch the sunset or just enjoy the views over the ocean with the chance of catching a glimpse of dolphins, turtles and whales.

A taste of White Grass Ocean Resort's Tours:

Yasur Volcano & Tanna Highlands Safari: This safari will take you through the Middle Bush area, past the wild horses on the White Grass plains, coffee plantations, many highland villages reaching Mt. Loanialu at 552 metres. Across the ash plain moonscape Isiwi area, terminating at the peak of Mt. Yasur. A further 15-minute walk will place you at the crater's edge (dependant on volcano activity at the time) where one can ponder over the awesome power of nature. Depart 2.00pm return approx. 8.00pm (6 hour duration).

Custom Village Tour: This safari will take you into the forest where you will find a unique custom village. Experience a way of life that has not changed in centuries. Locally made authentic handicrafts available to purchase. If time permits you will also visit the main town of Lenakel on the return journey. Departs 08.45am return 11.45am (3 hour duration).

Lamkail Rainforest Tour: Meet the villagers, visit their lovely beach and explore an ancient rainforest including a majestic Banyan Tree, Coconut Crab habitat and view trees filled with sleeping flying Foxes. Your guide will demonstrate the importance of the rainforest in food and medicines and show you traditional hunting traps and fishing outriggers. Departs 08.45am return 11.45am (3 hour duration). This tour is only available until 31st March 2009.

Surf Beach and Waterfall Safari: A thrilling 4wd adventure to the spectacular black sand surf beach on the wild east coast of Tanna. Visit the magnificent Louniel waterfall, deep in the forest. Witness traditional dancing on the high plateau. Enjoy a picnic lunch (included) on the black sand surf beach before a swim or surf on Body Boards provided. Bathe in the fresh water spring before your afternoon return to the resort.
