Poppys on the Lagoon is set on the shores of the Erakor Lagoon and designed to take advantage of the cooling breeze of the South Pacific trade winds. The Erakor Lagoon provides safe waters for swimming and water sports. Lagoon View Studio: Waters views of Erakor Lagoon, basic kitchenette facilities, fully screened and feature extensive use of tropical timbers. Bedding is 1 Queen Bed OR 2 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 2 Adults & Children.

Garden View Bungalow: Located next to the adults pool and feature high wooden ceilings, dining & sitting area, with a private patio overlooking the tropical gardens or pool area. Separate bedroom and lounge/kitchen areas. Bedding is 1 Queen Bed. Maximum room capacity is 2 Adults. This room type does not accept children.

Beachfront Spa Bungalow: Features private indoor spa and balcony. Very private free standing bure with spectacular waterfront views 5 metres from waters edge of Erakor lagoon and fully self contained. Bedding is 1 Queen Bed. Maximum room capacity is 2 Adults.

2 Bedroom Lagoon View Suite: Overlooking the pool or the lagoon. 2 bedrooms with interconnecting bathroom. Bedding is 2 Queen Beds OR 1 Queen Bed + 2 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 4 Adults & Children.

3 Bedroom Lagoon View Villa: These private cottages are full sized houses positioned higher up in the resort to capture the cool island breezes year round. 1 bedroom is downstairs with an ensuite, and 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom is upstairs. They feature a large kitchen, dining and lounge room with raked timber ceilings. The cottage is lagoon view, surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden and a private bure which is separate from the cottage and offers great views of the lagoon and the resort. Bedding is 2 Queen Beds + 2 Single Beds OR 3 Queen Beds. Maximum room capacity is 6 Adults & Children.

3 Bedroom Beachfront Villa: These private cottages are full sized houses just 5 metres from the waters edge. Villas have beach frontage and access to Erakor Lagoon. 1 bedroom is downstairs with an ensuite, and 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom is upstairs. They feature a large kitchen, dining and lounge room with raked timber ceilings. The rooms feature huge verandahs positioned right on the beach overlooking the lagoon. Bedding is 2 Queen Beds + 2 Single Beds OR 3 Queen Beds. Maximum room capacity is 6 Adults & Children.

Dining

Poppy's on the Lagoon does not have its own restaurant, however it does have Banana Leaf Cafe which is a casual and convenient pool-side bar and grill open from 7.30am-7.30pm. The cafe offers a range of delicious light meals including full cooked breakfast, pancakes, hamburgers and grills made fresh to order. The weekly poolside island BBQ is a must! Poppys also has an on site shop, stocking basic provisions, beer, wine and soft drinks.

There are also a large number of restaurants and cafes in Port Vila which is within walking distance or a 2 minute taxi ride.

Children

Poppy's on the Lagoon offers the perfect solution for families on holiday in Vanuatu. This lagoon side resort provides a safe yet fun environment for families to interact, and the spacious self contained accommodation allows for all the convenience of a "home away from home". As well as the lagoon and the family swimming pool to keep the children entertained, there are also a wide selection of children's videos and a climbing gym for the smaller children. Whilst there is not a kids club, the staff love the opportunity to baby sit - so parents can get away for a tour or dinner on their own if they wish.

Additional Information

Children: 0-1 year are free of charge in existing bedding. Children 2 years and older are charged at adult rates. Children are not accepted in the Garden View Bungalow or Beachfront Spa Bungalow.
