Situated on a sweeping white sandy beach, fringed with palms and backed by a lush tropical forest, Breakas Beach Resort is an intimate boutique resort for adults and young adults over 15 years old.

The architecture of Breakas is a tribute to the island's colonial heritage and rich indigenous culture. The Resort building has integrated modern and traditional materials such as coral, wood, thatch, and local artefacts. As you enter the foyer, the breath-taking view of the glamorous infinity pool blends into the endless horizon of the sparkling ocean just meters away.

Breakas, as the name suggests, also has a surf beach, described as being just as good as some of the crowded spots in Fiji and Samoa - similar to the Maldives this surf break doesn't get huge but has the perfect shape in tropical surroundings and its right outside your front door at Breakas.

Accommodation

Much more than a romantic getaway; Breakas offers 36 intimate fares (bungalows) nestled along the beach and lush tropical gardens. Air conditioning is not necessary due to the fresh ocean breezes. The interior decor has been designed to be in harmony with its surroundings. Spacious airy bathroom with coral stone feature wall complimenting the high reaching Natangura palm tree ceiling. The rooms are serviced daily and turned-down in the evening; a full laundry service is available.

Accommodation

New to the esplanade at Breakas Beach Resort are 16 fully self contained, luxury Villas that sit directly on the edge of the Pacific Ocean. Oversized terraces and sun bathing pavilions accommodate the utmost in privacy. Suitable for groups or families. Children under 15 years are welcome to stay in the Villas. The restaurant and facilities at Breakas Beach Resort are adults only, however meals can be ordered and delivered to the Villas.
The villas are expected to be completed by 05 September 2008.

Dining

Breakas Restaurant is renowned for delicious food, offering a wide variety including Vanuatu steaks and some of the best seafood in the South Pacific. The cuisine is a highlight for whoever visits the resort. The executive chef can access superbly fresh local produce on which to base his imaginative menus, and the Mediterranean influence in Australian cuisine is frequently demonstrated in many of the menu items.

Breakas Bar and Brassiere offers four venues for the price of one - the al fresco delights of The Terrace, innovative and exciting bistro dining in the Brassiere, a romantic candlelit dinner venue by the cascading pool or on the beach, and the glittering, cosmopolitan social scene of the Breaka's Beach Bar.

Breakfast can be taken in the privacy of your fare or on the terrace! Lunch at the swim up pool bar, dinner with your toes in the sand!

Activities

At Breakas Beach Resort a 22 metre infinity pool and swim-up bar on the beach is yours 24 hours a day. Some of the best coral of Port Vila can be found when snorkelling 200 metres in front of your fare. Dolphins, turtles, dugongs and whales are seen periodically in view of the resort. Surfing, windsurfing and kite surfing (BYO equipment) are also popular.

The resort has complimentary Petanque (bocce, boule) Beach Volley Ball, Table Tennis, Darts, Board Games and a Library at your disposal. Billiards is also available. Breakas Beach is the kite surfers' and surfing beach of Port Vila.
